Vishnupuram Literary Circle presented the Tamil Wiki - Thooran Award for 2024 to noted manuscriptologist M.K. Kovaimani. The award vizha was held on 14-15 August, 2024 at Erode.
Writer Nanjil Nadan, member of Board of Editors of Tamil.wiki presented the award to M.K. Kovaimani. Other members of the Board and scholars from across the country graced the event.

Tamil Wiki is an online encyclopedia that seeks to grow through public collaboration. It is a repository of information about Tamil literature, art and culture. The goal of Tamil Wiki is not to just document data, but to write about various topics in clear, precise language and include photographs and other media that create an immersive reading experience for the reader. Tamil Wiki provides extensive internal links, hyperlinking related topics, thus creating a complete knowledge map. These references and links make the repository a useful tool for research.
This public wiki welcomes readers to contribute to and edit the articles. All submissions are checked for accuracy by Tamil Wiki's board of editors comprised of academics and senior writers and published upon approval by the advisory team.
