In 2010, Giridharan translated into Tamil a book for a simple introduction to Carnatic Music. R Giridharan alias Giridharan Rajagopalan is a Tamil writer. He writes short stories, essays on music and critic articles. His stories, which happen in the backdrop of western music, have introduced a new domain for the Tamil Literature.

Birth & Youth

Girdharan is the son of Rajagopalan and Padma. He was born on June 11, 1979 in Tindivanam. After completing his schooling at Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School in Pondicherry, he completed his Engineering degree in the Pondicherry Engineering College.

Family

Giridharan married Chithralekha in 2006. They have two daughters – Aathira and Akshara. Currently Giridharan lives in England, working in an Insurance software development firm.
