M. Sivasubramaniam (M.S) (1929 – December 3, 2017) was a translator and editor of books. M.S translated the literary and sociological works from English and Malayalam to Tamil. M.S refined the works of many Tamil writers and enriched them.
Birth and Education
M. Sivasubramaniam was born at Thirupathisaram in Kanyakumari district in 1929. Renowned writer Ma. Aranganathan was his younger brother.
Private Life
After completing his schooling from S.L.B School, Nagercoil, M. Sivasubramaniam joined as an employee of the finance department in erstwhile Travancore state in 1947. Later, he joined Department of Registration, Government of Tamil Nadu and retired in 1987.
