K. Anandasuppaiyar was a Tamil scholar, Saiva scholar, and a poet of Eelam Sitrilakiyam (minor literary) world. Anandasuppaiyar's important works include Vannainagar Thaiyalnaayaki Kalivenpa and Vannainagar Thaiyalnaayaki Thiruvoodal collections.
Personal Life
Anandasuppaiyar was born to Ganeshaiyer at Vannarpannai in Jaffna town of Sri Lanka. He had a son by name Aadhinarayanan.
Literary Life
Anandasuppaiyar was educated by Vaitthilinga Chetty. Anandasuppaiyar's father Ganeshaiyar was a direct student of 'Vidhvasiromani' Ponnambala Pillai. so, Anandasuppaiyar also learned from him directly.
