Brenda Beck (Dr. Brenda E.F. Beck) (1940) is an anthropologist from Canada. She has done a research on the folk tradition in the kongu region of Tamil Nadu. She has published the complete oral epic Annanmar Sami Kadhai ( Elder Brothers' Story) with references. She has written eight books and more than sixty research articles that introduced the Tamil culture to the world. She is an active member in the Tamil cultural Associations of Canada.
