Irungkundram is one of the eight Jain mount Pallis (Enperungkundram), situated in Azhagar Malai (Mount), 28 km north of Madurai.

Azhagarmalaipalli is situated near Sundararasanpatti, Kidaripatti on the Melur road that runs from the foothills of Azhagar Malai towards east. Elegant and well-polished floor and few stone slabs are found here. A spring is also found here.
