In 1926, S. G. Ramanujalu Naidu became the editor of the ''Anantha Gunabodhini'' magazine started by ''T''. Rajagopal Mudaliar. ''Anantha Gunabodhini'' was started as a competition to ''Ananda Bodhini'' magazine. Arani Kuppusamy became famous by publishing serials in ''Anantha Bodhini''. Nagavedu Munusamy Mudaliar, the owner of ''Ananda Bodhini,'' filed a case against ''Anantha Gunabodhini'' citing that the latter had resemblance of name and structure of his magazine. The verdict was in his favour. ''Ananda Gunabodhini'' altered its form and changed the name to ''Amirtha Gunabodhini''. S. G. Ramanujalu Naidu wrote several sections in the magazine such as Children's column, Women's column, and ''pathrikacharam'' (magazine guidelines). He wrote comics and cartoons under the name ''Kathapirasangi''. He wrote all columns except a few by, Maral Karthikeya Mudaliar, Ariyur V Padmanaba Pillai''.  Amirta Gunabodhini'' published J. R. Rangaraju's novels. In 1934, conflicts arose between S. G. Ramanujalu Naidu and Madurai I. M Gopalakrishna Kon when ''Amirtha Gunabodhini'' was sold to Gopalakrishna Kon. S. G. Ramanujalu Naidu left the magazine. Even thereafter, J. R. Rangaraju's novels were published in it. ''Amirtha Gunabodhini'' Press continually published many books. In 1940, the magazine was stopped from print.

In 1926, S. G. Ramanujalu Naidu became the editor of the Anantha Gunabodhini magazine started by T. Rajagopal Mudaliar. It was started in competition to Ananda Bodhini magazine.
