A. Sakthiverpillai (20th century C.E) was a Tamil poet as well as Sitrilakkia (Minor-literary) poet. Vinayakar Pillai Tamil was his important writing.
Private Life
A. Sakthiverpillai was born to Arumugam Pillai in Vellalar community at Thamarankottai near Pattukkottai, Thanjavur in 20th century C.E. A. Sakthiverpillai accomplished school education and poetries. A. Sakthiverpillai learnt grammar and literature from C. Swaminatha Pandithar. A. Sakthiverpillai was devoted to Lord Muruga. A. Sakthiverpillai was a poet in Marungapuri princely state.
Literary Life
A. Sakthiverpillai composed Verses. A. Sakthiverpillai was editor of Bharathamitran weekly in Thirukkudanthai. While living in Devakottai, A. Sakthiverpillai composed Vinayaka Pillai Tamil. In 1926, A. Sakthiverpillai composed and published the book Sandhanamalai in response to the request of Puduvayal Kumarappa Chettiar to have a child (online library).
