ப்ரியம்வதா (பிறப்பு: அக்டோபர் 14, 1982) மொழிபெயர்ப்பாளர், கட்டுரையாளர். தமிழிலிருந்து ஆங்கிலத்திற்கு புனைவுகளை மொழியாக்கம் செய்து வருகிறார்.
பிறப்பு, கல்வி
ப்ரியம்வதா சென்னையில் ராம்குமார், சுஜாதா இணையருக்கு அக்டோபர் 14, 1982-ல் பிறந்தார். சென்னை மைலாப்பூர் வித்யா மந்திர் பள்ளியில் பள்ளிக்கல்வி பயின்றார். ஸ்டெல்லா மாரிஸ் கல்லூரியில் பி.காம் இளங்கலைப்பட்டம் பெற்றார். ஜாம்ஷட்பூர் XLRI மையத்தில் எம்.பி.ஏ பட்டம் பெற்றார்.
தனிவாழ்க்கை
ப்ரியம்வதா விஜய் ரங்கனாதனை ஜூலை 12, 2020-ல் மணந்தார். ப்ரியம்வதா தனியார் சமபங்கு நிதித்துறையில் பணியாற்றி வருகிறார். வணிக ரீதியில் மட்டும் அல்லாமல் சமூக அளவில் நலன் பயக்கும் நிறுவனங்களில் முதலீடு செய்வதோடு அந்நிறுவனங்களின் இயக்குநர் குழுமத்திலும் பங்காற்றுகிறார். கணவர் விஜய் ரங்கனாதன் முதலீட்டு வங்கியில் பணிபுரிந்தவர், தற்போது திரைக்கதைகள் எழுதி வருகிறார்.
இலக்கிய வாழ்க்கை
ப்ரியம்வதாவின் முதல் படைப்பு ”மீண்டும் புதியவர்களின் கதைகளைப்பற்றி” என்ற விமர்சனக்கட்டுரை ஜெயமோகன் தளத்தில் வெளியானது. 2021-ல் South Asia Speaks Fellowship Programme என்ற இலக்கியப் பட்டறையில் பங்கேற்க தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். இதன் பகுதியாக ஜெயமோகனின் 'அறம்' தொகுதியை மொழியாக்கம் செய்தார். ப்ரியம்வதாவின் முதல் படைப்பு ஜெயமோகனின் 'அறம்' சிறுகதைத்தொகுப்பின் ஆங்கில மொழிபெயர்ப்பான 'Stories of the True' 2022-ல் ஜக்கர்நாட் பதிப்பகம் வெளியீடாக வெளியானது. அ.முத்துலிங்கம் எழுதிய 'என்னை திருப்பி எடு' என்ற சிறுகதை 'Take me back' என்ற பெயரில் Spillswords இணைய இதழில் பிரசுரமானது.
