Personal Life
Anandasuppaiyar was born to Ganeshaiyer at Vannarpannai in Jaffna town of Sri Lanka. He had a son by name Aadhinarayanan.
Literary Life
Anandasuppaiyar was educated by the teacher Vaitthilinga Chetty. Anandasuppaiyar's father Ganeshaiyar was a direct student of 'Vidhvasiromani' Ponnambala Pillai. so, Anandasuppaiyar also learned from him directly. Due to his devotion to the Goddess Thaiyalnaayaki of Vannainagar, Anandasuppaiyar composed the poems in Kalivenpa and Thiruvoonjal forms as per Sitrrilakiyam norms and kept Goddess Thaiyalnaayaki as their female protagonist.
