Kathiraverpillai was born in the 19th century in a town called Thambalagamuwa located in the Trincomalee district of the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka.
Literary Life
Kathiraverpillai composed ‘Konesar Padhigam which is a collection of poems praising the Sri Lankan god Thirukonamalai Konesar. This book was printed in 1889 at Valvettithurai. He wrote many individual poems apart from this sitrilakiyam.
