Ulagam Kulanthaiyaga Irunthabothu is a Tamil adaptation of the English book When the World was Young' by anthropologist Verrier Elwin (1996). It is a collection of various legends of Indian tribes.
Publication
The English version of the book was published in 1961 by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. It was reprinted in 1966 and then again in 1995 with a foreword by historian Ramachandra Guha for the next generation of readers.
