Thirumeignanam T.P.N. Ramanathan joined as a student to his brother Thirumeignanam Venugopal as a student in 1992 and participated in concerts with him. In 1993, he joined Chidambaram Annamalai University as a student of Sembanarkoil S.R.D. Vaidyanathan Pillai and graduated in 1996 with Diploma as the top student and received a gold medal. Since 2015, he has played along with the Nadaswaram artist Pandamangalam G. Yuvaraj. He played Nadaswaram as a temple artist in Singapore Krishna Temple. In 2018, he participated in Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival. He is an ‘A’ Grade artist in Trichy All India Radio.
