Kollipavai magazine was published by Rajamarthanadan, with the help of M. Vedha Sagaya Kumar, while he was a research student in literature under Professor Jesudasan in Trivandrum. The first issue was published in October, 1976. Rajamarthandan has mentioned that the magazine name was chosen by Pramil, who was with him at that time. Kollipavai came out as a quarterly in big size and high number of pages. The first issue contained 52 pages. Only one issue was published in the year 1977. The magazine publication stopped after 12 issues came out in varying frequency over a period. The publication of the magazine was revived by Kattaikkadu Rajagopalan in July, 1985. He published 8 issues between July, 1985 and June, 1988 and then stopped. In total | |||
