Iyanmozhi Vaazhthu is one of the genres of Sitrilakiyam (known as Prabandham in Sanskrit). Verses sung praising an important or noble man, the innate nature of his tribe or clan, how he has naturally acquired those traits and in the end, asking him to bestow riches as befits the tribe or clan.[1]
