Henry Martin (1811- March 31,1861) was a pioneer educator and journalist in Jaffna. He was associated with Vattukottai seminary. He was a scholar in English and Tamil.
Birth and Education
Henry Martin was born on 1811 in Chundikuli, Jaffna. He completed his primary education at American Missionary school at Thellipazhai. Then he continued his education at Vattukottai Seminary.
