Henry Irwin (1841 - 1922) was a British Architect. He designed many buildings in India during British rule which were classified as Indo-Saracenic. He was a member of Civil Engineering society. He received Queen Victoria (1888) birth day honors.

Life

Henry Irwin was the eldest son of Henry Irwin (senior), a priest in Anglican Church, Ireland. He had three younger brothers and two younger sisters. His father was Archdeacon in Elfin. Henry Irwin joined Indian public works in 1886. Mostly he worked in South India.
