Chokkalingam considered the government didn't took enough action on the issue which led him to wrote a harsh article titled 'Sarkar yenge?' (Where is the government?). Second part of V. O. Chidambaram Pillai's biography and Mahakavi Bharathi's biography written by Va. Ramaswami Iyengar were published as series through this periodical.
