A. Nagappa Mudhaliar (19th century) was a Tamil poet. Advaita Chintamani is an important work of his.

Life

He was born in Chozhanadu adjacent to Thiruthillaipathi in Perumaathur to Arunachala Mudhaliar. He completed schooling. He familiarized himself with andhadhis, kalambagams, and nikhandoos. He learnt the scriptures from advaita vedanta scholar Subbaraya Adigal of Veerashaiva sect.

Literary Life

He composed many poems. He authored Advaita Chintamani that captured the essence of vedanta teachings. The work contains 103 viruthappaas.
