ஏ.டபிள்யூ பிரப் (Anthony Watson Brough ) (1861- )

அந்தோணி வாட்ஸன் பிரப் 1861ல் இங்கிலாந்தில் எஸ்ஸெக்ஸ் வட்டாரத்தில் லிட்டன்ஸ்டோன் ஊரில் அந்தோனி பிரப் - எம்மா லா இணையருக்கு பிறந்தார்

அந்தோணி பிரப் ஆஸ்திரேலியா சிட்னியைச் சேர்ந்த ரோஸெட்டா ஜேன் ஜோலி (Rosetta Jane Jolly) மணாந்தார். அவர்களுக்கு மூன்று குழந்தைகள். எம்மா மேரி பிரப், சார்ல்ஸ் அந்தோணி பிரப் ஹெர்பெர்ட் அந்தோணி பிரப். ( ஹெர்பர்ட் முதல் உலகப்போரில் பிரான்ஸில் மறைந்தார்)

1894ல் இந்தியா வந்த பிரப் 1933 வரை ஈரோடு லண்டன் மிஷன் சபையில் போதகராகவும் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளராகவும் பணியாற்றினார். இவர் போதகர் எச்.ஏ.பாப்லியுடன் இணைந்து

Between 1894 and 1933, Anthony worked for the London Christian Missionary Society in India, where as a Reverend he helped establish 94 schools, 20 churches and two hospitals.

Between 1927 and 1933, Anthony built a beautiful Christian church in Erode, India (known as “Brough Church” in his memory) and Gosh (CSI) Hospital located on Brough Road in Erode.

Anthony's wife, Rosetta, died in 1928 in Erode, India. In 1935, Anthony married Jessie Winifred Inglis in Erode. In 1936, Anthony died in Norton, Somerset, England; and was buried in the Canford Cemetery on Canford Lane in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, England.

Brief History of Anthony Watson Brough (1861-1936)

Anthony Watson Brough was born in 1861 in Leytonstone, Essex, England, as the son of Anthony Brough and Emma Law.

In 1885, Anthony married Rosetta Jane Jolly (1855-1928) in Sydney, Australia, and they had three children who were born in Australia: Emma Mary Brough (b.188); Charles Anthony Brough (1889-1933); and Herbert William Brough (1892-1917--and who died in France in World War I).
