அம்பிகைபாகர் (1884 -1904) இலங்கை தமிழ், சைவ அறிஞர். ஈழத்து சிற்றிலக்கியப் புலவர்களில் ஒருவர். இணுவை அந்தாதி முக்கியமான படைப்பாகும்.
வாழ்க்கைக் குறிப்பு
அம்பிகைபாகர் இலங்கை, யாழ்ப்பாணத்தைச் சேர்ந்த இணுவில் எனும் சிற்றூர்ல் 1884-ல் பிறந்தார்.
இலக்கிய வாழ்க்கை
இலங்கை, யாழ்ப்பாணத்திலுள்ள இணுவில் வரலாற்றுச் சிறப்புமிக்க கோவிலான இணுவில் கந்தசுவாமி கோயிலை மையமாக வைத்து ’இணுவை அந்தாதி’ பாடினார். ஆறுமுக நாவலரிடத்தில் தொல்காப்பியம் சேனாவரையத்தையும், நடராசையரிடத்தில் சிவஞான சித்தியார் முதலிய சித்தாந்த நூல்களையும் பயின்றார்.
சி.வை தாமோதரம்பிள்ளையின் நண்பர். இருவரும் இலக்கியப் பணிகளில் துணைபுரிந்து கொண்டனர். சி. கணேசையர் இவரிடம் தனிகை புராணத்துக்கு பொருள் கேட்டறிந்தார்.
