வசந்த் ஷிண்டே
வசந்த் ஷிண்டே (பிறப்பு: ஜூன் 15, 1956) இந்தியாவின் தொல்லியல் ஆய்வாளர். 2011 முதல் 2016 வரை ராக்கிகர்ஹி-ல் நிகழ்ந்த அகழ்வாராய்ச்சிப் பணியின் ஆய்வாளர்களில் ஒருவர். முதன்முதலில் ஹரப்பா மக்களின் மண்டை ஓட்டு தொடர்பான ஆய்வுகளை மறுசீரமைப்பு செய்தவர். அகழ்வாராய்ச்சியில் மரபணு சோதனைகளின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை வலியுறுத்தியவர்.
வாழ்க்கைக் குறிப்பு
வசந்த் ஷிண்டே மகாராஷ்டிரா மாநிலம் புனேயில் ஜூன் 15, 1956-ல் பிறந்தார். பூனா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் வரலாற்றில் இளங்கலைப்பட்டம் பெற்றார். பூனா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பண்டைய இந்திய வரலாறு, கலாச்சாரம் மற்றும் தொல்லியல் துறையில் முதுகலைப்பட்டம் முதல் வகுப்பில் பெற்றார். ”பழங்கால வரலாறு: தப்தி வடிநிலத்தில் ஆரம்பகால குடியேற்றங்கள்” என்ற தலைப்பில் முனைவர் பட்ட ஆய்வு செய்து பட்டம் பெற்றார். 1985-ல் டென்மார்க்கின் கோபென்ஹேகனிலும், 1989-90-ல் கேம்பிரிட்ஜ் பல்கலைக்கழகத்திலும் முனைவர் பட்ட மேற்படிப்பு படித்தார். விக்ரமசீலா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் டாக்டர் பட்டம் பெற்றார்.
ஆசிரியப்பணி
- 1982 முதல் புனேயிலுள்ள டெக்கான் கல்லூரியில் தொல்லியல் துறையில் முதுநிலை மாணவர்களுக்கு பேராசிரியராக பணியில் இருந்தார். 1995 முதல் ஆய்வியல் நிறைஞர் கல்வி பெற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கு பேராசியர்.
- 1987-1995 வரை திலக் மகாராஷ்டிரா வித்யாபீடத்தில் முதுகலை மாணவர்களுக்குப் பேராசிரியராக இருந்தார்.
- 1991 முதல் புது தில்லியிலுள்ள 'Institute of Archaeology' கல்லூரியில் முதுகலை மாணவர்களுக்கு பேராசிரியராக பணியில் இருந்தார்.
- புனேயின் டெக்கான் கல்லூரி ஆராய்ச்சி மாணவர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டியாக உள்ளார். இவரின் ஆசிரியத்துவத்தில் பல மாணவர்கள் முனைவர் பட்டம் பெற்றனர். 2008 முதல் ஹங்கேரியில் உள்ள 'Eotvos Lorand University of Sciences' கல்லூரி மாணவர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டியாக உள்ளார்.
- ஜப்பான் நாட்டின் க்யோட்டோவில் 'International Research Centre for Japanese Studies'-ல் வருகை தரு பேராசிரியராக இருந்தார். ஜப்பான் நாட்டின் க்யோட்டோவில் 'Research Institute for Humanity and Nature' ல் வருகை தரு பேராசிரியராக இருந்தார்.
அமைப்புச் செயல்பாடுகள்
- தெற்காசிய தொல்பொருள் சங்கத்தின் (Society of South Asian Archaeology) நிறுவனர்.
- பொது தொல்லியல் (Public Archaeology) துறையில் தீவிரமாக ஈடுபட்டுள்ளார். நாட்டின் கலாச்சார பாரம்பரியத்தைப் பாதுகாக்கவும், பொது மக்களிடையே அது குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தவும் மகாராஷ்டிரா, ராஜஸ்தான் மற்றும் ஹரியானாவில் குழுக்களை நிறுவியுள்ளார்.

ஆய்வு வாழ்க்கை
- 1980-90களில் மகாராஷ்டிரத்தின் தபதி (Tapti) வடிநிலத்தில் அகழ்வாராய்ச்சியில் ஈடுபட்டார்.
- 2006-11 காலகட்டத்தில் சிந்து சமவெளி நாகரிகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ராக்கிகர்ஹி-ல் (தற்போதைய ஹரியானா மாநிலம்) அகழ்வாய்வுகளில் ஈடுபட்டார்.
2019-ல் டேவிட் ரீச்-உடன் (David Reich) இணைந்து "An Ancient Harappan Genome Lacks Ancestry from Steppe Pastoralists or Iranian Farmers" என்ற ஆய்வறிக்கையை சமர்ப்பித்தார். இதன் வழியாக சிந்து சமவெளி மக்கள் இந்தோ-ஆரிய குடும்பத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் என்ற ஆய்வு முடிவை முன்வைத்தார். சிந்து சமவெளியில் வாழ்ந்த மக்கள் அனடோலியா, ஸ்டெப்பி பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த மூதாதையர்களின் தொடர்ச்சி இல்லை என்று ஆய்ந்து கூறினார். இது ஏற்கனவே அறிஞர்களால் நம்பப்பட்ட இந்தோ-ஆரிய புலப்பெயர்வு கோட்பாட்டை (Indo-Aryan migration theory) கேள்விக்குள்ளாக்கியது.
