In the same year another elementary school was started by the London Mission Society at Rajaveedhi, and later relocated to Union High School Street in 1898. Susanna Emilia (Emily) Addis was a teacher in the first English school in Coimbatore. She was the wife of the school’s founder, William Bawn Addis.
Birth
Susanna was born on 2 August 1808 in Chennai, India to Tamericus Carolus van Someren.
Personal Life
Susanna married William Bawn Addis, a London Mission pastor. They had two children, Henry Bawn Addis and William Judson Addis. Willian Judson Addis became a pastor of the London Mission.
Academic service
